Modular sofas in warm grey tweed define gathering zones without closing off the open-plan lobby. A custom solid walnut concierge desk anchors the arrival experience, its fluted front panel echoing the rhythm of the building's mid-century facade.

Library & Social Zone — Floor-to-ceiling walnut shelving units with integrated warm LED strip lighting, curated for displaying local art monographs and found objects. Bespoke reading chairs in cognac leather with articulated floor lamps, each positioned to create an intimate pocket within the open space. Custom side tables in matte black steel and honed marble, their geometric bases referencing Chicago's architectural grid.

Restaurant & Bar — Contract-grade dining chairs in deep burgundy performance velvet, paired with circular walnut tables and brass-trimmed bases. Banquette seating in charcoal tweed runs the length of one wall, its button-tufted backrest divided into rhythmic panels. Bar stools in saddle leather with a burnished brass footrest, designed for evening cocktails and morning coffee alike.

Event & Pre-Function Areas — Stackable banquet chairs in warm bronze metallic finish, with upholstered seat pads in slate grey. Modular cocktail tables in walnut and brushed brass, designed to be reconfigured for everything from corporate galas to intimate wedding receptions.

Guestroom Casegoods — Custom walnut-veneer platform beds with integrated reading lights and concealed charging stations in the headboard. Writing desks with leather-inlaid surfaces and soft-close drawers. Nightstands with felt-lined top compartments and brass accent pulls. Luggage benches and accent mirrors in matching finishes complete each room's visual coherence.

All timber sourced from FSC-certified American black walnut, with grain consistency matched across a 160+ key inventory and all public zones.

Upholstery fabrics independently certified to CAL 117 and NFPA 260 fire resistance standards. Restaurant and lobby seating fabrics treated with nano-level stain repellent technology.

Brass and copper accents — from table inlays to drawer pulls — custom-developed in a living finish that will patina gracefully over time, reflecting the brand's celebration of character and story.

Library shelving with integrated lighting was developed as a modular system exclusive to this project, allowing each shelf to be individually illuminated without visible wiring.

Banquet chair stacking mechanism custom-engineered to the hotel's storage footprint, maximizing back-of-house efficiency without compromising front-of-house elegance.
