Vagabond Miami
Scope of Delivery
Guestrooms — Custom Casegoods & Seating Collection — Custom platform beds with upholstered headboards in a palette of aqua-blue, magenta, and crisp white, echoing the hotel's signature color language. Writing desks and dressers in walnut-stained oak veneer with soft-close drawers and matte lacquer finish. Each piece of furniture was custom-made for the Vagabond by Dual Jade's design team, taking cues from the 1950s — sleek lines, tapered legs, and geometric accents. Bedside tables with felt-lined top compartments and integrated USB charging, designed to sit naturally alongside the original terrazzo and wood flooring preserved throughout every room.
Poolside Lounge & Cabanas — Weather-resistant woven lounge chairs in retro teal and white, echoing the hotel's exterior color accents. Poolside bar stools in UV-stabilized powder-coated aluminum with quick-dry mesh seat suspension. Custom cabana daybeds with canopy frames, all engineered with marine-grade stainless steel hardware and concealed drainage channels for Miami's tropical climate. The furniture frames the iconic mermaid and dolphin mosaic pool — a lovingly restored centerpiece of the courtyard.
Public Area & Corridor Seating — Modular lounge seating for the open-air catwalks and reception area, upholstered in performance fabrics treated for Miami's humidity. Solid wood accent tables with softly radiused corners, positioned to encourage guests to pause and take in the courtyard views that wrap around every floor.
Customization Highlights
Guestroom furniture color palette custom-developed to match the Vagabond's three signature room schemes: aqua-blue, magenta, and crisp white, with coordinating hardware finishes in brushed brass and matte black.
All outdoor and poolside furniture specified with marine-grade 316 stainless steel fasteners throughout, with woven elements hand-woven using solution-dyed acrylic fiber for zero water absorption and maximum UV resistance under Miami's year-round sun.
All timber sourced from FSC-certified American white oak and walnut, with every piece finished to meet the National Register of Historic Places standards for contributing structures.
Custom furniture silhouettes — tapered legs, gently radiused drawer fronts, recessed finger pulls — co-developed with the hotel's interior design team to honor the 1953 Swartburg architecture while delivering contemporary boutique function.
Upholstery fabrics independently certified to CAL 117 and NFPA 260 fire resistance standards, with nano-level stain repellent treatment on all poolside and public area seating.
